Val Gardena boasts a an extensive bus network, with buses running run quite frequently. Guests staying at one of our partner facilities will receive a free Val Gardena Guest Pass. The Card gives free use of all public buses (except the Nightbus and Monte Pana/Saltria bus) in Val Gardena and free use of nearly all public transport in South Tyrol. You can use your Val Gardena Guest Pass on check-in and check-out day! Park your car at your accommodation and make the most of public transport: you won’t regret it!

IMPORTANT:

  • Every ticket (including the Val Gardena Guest Pass) MUST be validated each time it is used on the bus.
  • Tickets can be purchased and validated both directly on the bus and online.
    Exception: On bus lines 352, 353, and 354, tickets can ONLY purchased and validated directly online. Download the APP for the online tickets: Android or Apple iOS
  • Children under 6 travel free.
  • Dogs must be kept on a leash and, if necessary, wear a muzzle. Guide dogs for the blind are exempt from wearing a muzzle, unless requested otherwise by the onboard staff or other passengers. Animals are not allowed to occupy seats. Pets transported in suitable animal carriers or bags are considered as luggage and travel free of charge. Pets not transported in a carrier must have a valid ticket.
  • If you’re caught travelling without a valid ticket or card, you’ll have to pay a hefty fine.
  • Due to the high number of passengers, bicycle transport on public buses within the valley (lines 352, 471, 473) in Val Gardena is not permitted!
    On lines 350, 351, and 360, bicycle transport is allowed, provided there is sufficient space in the luggage compartment.

Bus stops

Val Gardena has an extensive network of public bus stops that covers both the main roads and the numerous side streets, districts and hamlets. These good connections ensure convenient accessibility and a high level of mobility for locals and guests alike. The comprehensive public transport system contributes to the sustainable development of the region and makes travelling within the valley easier.

You can request information regarding timetables and prices between Monday and Saturday from 6:00 to 20:00, as well as on Sunday and festivities between 7:30 and 20:00. No responsibility is taken for any changes to the timetables and routes which are caused by force major and which, therefore, cannot be communicated in a timely manner. Tickets are sold onboard.
